My Campaign Platform

Putting El Monte First

SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS

Keep our neighborhoods safe while making smart investments in public safety.

Every El Monte resident deserves to feel safe at home, in their neighborhood, and throughout our community. I’ll continue supporting the men and women who protect our city while addressing the everyday quality-of-life issues residents care about.

My priorities include:

  • Strong police and fire services

  • Emergency preparedness

  • Traffic and pedestrian safety

  • Homelessness outreach and services

  • Tackling illegal dumping and graffiti

  • Strong code enforcement

  • Modern equipment and resources for first responders

  • Keeping neighborhoods clean, safe, and secure

Public safety is about more than responding to crime. It is about creating neighborhoods where families feel safe and quality of life is protected.

FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, ACCOUNTABILITY & INDEPENDENT LEADERSHIP

Protect taxpayer dollars. Demand accountability. Put El Monte residents first.

City Hall has a responsibility to manage taxpayer dollars carefully and make decisions based on what is best for residents, not politics or special interests. I have never been afraid to ask the tough questions, demand transparency, and stand up for taxpayers.

My priorities include:

  • Responsible budgeting and long-term financial stability

  • Protecting city reserves

  • Opposing wasteful and unnecessary spending

  • Greater transparency in financial decisions

  • Strong oversight and accountability

  • Making every taxpayer dollar count

  • Asking the tough questions before spending public money

  • Putting residents ahead of politics and special interests

Experience matters. Independent leadership matters. Accountability matters.

STRONG NEIGHBORHOODS & INFRASTRUCTURE

Fix our streets. Improve our parks. Keep El Monte clean.

Residents deserve to see their tax dollars working in their own neighborhoods. That means maintaining the basic infrastructure and public spaces that families depend on every day.

My priorities include:

  • Street paving and road repairs

  • Sidewalk improvements

  • Better parks and recreation facilities

  • Trees and neighborhood beautification

  • Improved street lighting

  • Storm drain and infrastructure improvements

  • Clean streets and neighborhoods

  • Continued investment in neighborhood improvements

Every neighborhood in El Monte deserves clean streets, quality parks, safe sidewalks, and infrastructure we can be proud of.

JOBS, SMALL BUSINESSES & OPPORTUNITY

Protect taxpayer dollars. Demand accountability. Put El Monte residents first.

Build an economy that works for El Monte families.

A strong local economy means more opportunities for our residents, stronger small businesses, and the resources necessary to provide quality city services. Economic development should benefit the people who already live and work in El Monte.

My priorities include:

  • Creating and attracting good-paying jobs

  • Supporting good-paying union jobs

  • Helping local and small businesses succeed

  • Attracting responsible new businesses and investment

  • Workforce development and job training

  • Connecting residents with employment opportunities

  • Revitalizing commercial corridors

  • Supporting economic development that benefits residents

We should welcome investment while making sure economic growth creates real opportunities for El Monte residents and working families.

STANDING UP FOR EL MONTE FAMILIES

Every family deserves the opportunity to succeed in El Monte.

As an educator and lifelong El Monte resident, I understand that strong communities begin with strong families. City government should be responsive to residents at every stage of life and make sure people can access the programs, services, and opportunities they need.

My priorities include:

  • Programs for children and youth

  • Supporting seniors and veterans

  • Youth and after-school opportunities

  • Parks, recreation, and community programs

  • Mental health and wellness resources

  • Supporting immigrant families

  • Improving access to city programs and services

  • Making sure working families have a voice at City Hall

Whether you are raising a family, running a small business, caring for an aging parent, or trying to build a better future for your children, you deserve a City Hall that works for you.

MY COMMITMENT

Experience Matters. Results Matter. El Monte Matters.

El Monte faces real financial challenges, difficult decisions, and important opportunities. This is a time for experienced, independent leadership that will protect taxpayer dollars, keep our neighborhoods safe, invest in our community, strengthen our economy, and always put El Monte residents first.
